Hostel Hangout - Bar

Stayed at a charming pink house. Emre was a fabulous host. Convenient location near buses and trains. Common area was comfy. Downsides: Just had to search for a pink house.

We had trouble finding the hostel at first, but the volunteer kindly met us at a nearby location. the hostel itself was clean and well-maintained, with fresh furniture and spotlessly clean facilities. the young Turkish owner was incredibly attentive and genuinely cared about our experience. the kitchen and common area were great, and the bathrooms were top-notch, almost like those you would find in a 4-star hotel. the location was convenient, just a short walk from the main bus and train station. Hangout is a great choice for backpackers visiting Bar, and I would definitely stay there again.

They provided us with valuable information, made our stay and travels enjoyable. The location of the hostel was convenient, as it was within a short walk to both the train and bus stations. We also appreciated the presence of local bus stops, a supermarket, and bakery just around the corner. The hostel had a young and casual vibe, with a fully equipped kitchen, terrace, and a spacious sitting lounge. It was a great place to relax and meet new people.

Although our experience was positive overall, there were a few minor drawbacks. The smell from the bathroom was not pleasant, but the bathroom itself was clean.

The location of the hostel seems a bit strange at first, but it's actually quite convenient. It's within walking distance of both the old town and the new town, as well as the bus and train station. the staff and volunteers are friendly and helpful, and the bathrooms are spacious and clean. the hostel also offers free Wi-Fi, a fully equipped kitchen, and a nice porch and garden area.

The hostel is located near the railways and a highway, which can be a bit noisy at times.

The dorm rooms were comfortable and had individual storage lockers, white linens, towels, reliable Wi-Fi, and air conditioning all included in the price. It felt like staying in a luxury hotel without the hefty price tag. The shared lounge was a great place to unwind and meet other travelers. I had some unforgettable conversations and made new friends during my stay. The free private parking was a blessing. I didn't have to worry about finding a spot for my car or paying extra for parking. The garden and terrace were perfect for moments of relaxation. I enjoyed sipping my morning coffee surrounded by beautiful greenery. Some rooms even had a seating area, which was a nice bonus. It felt like having my own little cozy corner to retreat to.

That the hostel was located a bit far from the city center. However, it was easily manageable with the local bus or a short taxi ride.

Stayed in a construction site, dirty kitchen, strange priorities, and lots of conditions. What a delightful experience!

The location is perfect, volunteers and fellow guests were amazing, and the room, toilets, and showers were clean. The kitchen was also suitable for preparing something.

I keep coming back to this amazing place. The staff is super helpful, they once helped with my bug bite. It has everything I need: Wi-Fi, parking, kitchen, TV room. I'm coming back for Christmas!

I recently stayed at Hostel Hangout for a few days to explore the beautiful nature around. The owner, Emre, was incredibly friendly and provided helpful tips about the area. The hostel has a homely, local feel to it as it is located in a normal family house. The kitchen is spacious and well-equipped, making cooking a joy. There's also a big garden perfect for summer BBQs. The rooms are big and the bathrooms are clean. The location is convenient, close to the train station and a 30-minute walk to both the center and the castle. Highly recommended!

Can't recommend this hostel highly enough.

The owner Emre and the staff were super friendly and knowledgeable. The bathrooms were spacious and the beds were comfy AF. We partied hard in the nearby city and chilled at the beautiful beach. The kitchen and terrace were lit too - perfect for pre-gaming!

If there was one thing I could ask for, it would be a happening bar or club right at the hostel. Sure, there was plenty of fun to be had in the city, but it would've been lit to have a party scene back at the hostel too.

Our stay at Hostel Hangout was amazing! The dorm room had individual storage lockers, comfy white linens, and towels. The reliable Wi-Fi and air conditioning were a bonus. We loved the tile/marble floor in our double room. The bed linen and towels provided were a nice touch. it was cozy and comfortable.

Personally, we would have liked a seating area in our dorm room. But hey, everyone's preferences are different!

The hostel was in a great location, very close to both the bus and train stations, which made it easy to get around. the rooms and kitchen were spacious and well-maintained, and the kitchen equipment was all newly bought. the bathrooms were clean and spacious, and the owners were really responsive to feedback and making improvements.

Finding the hostel was a bit tricky, as the location was not well-marked and required navigating around a corner and following a sign on the building. there were some small inconveniences due to unfinished construction, but the owners assured us that they would be dealt with soon.

Lovely little hostel near public transport. Chill vibe! Amazing owner, clean facilities, great water pressure, comfy beds, and helpful staff.
